YMP Branded Gifting – Products Return & Refunds Policy

At YMP Branded Gifting, we strive to provide high-quality branded and personalised products to our customers. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, our return policy ensures that you receive the appropriate assistance in accordance with South African consumer protection laws.

1. General Return Policy

  • Non-Personalised Items: May be returned within [7–30] days of delivery, provided they are unused, in their original condition, and in the original packaging.
  • Personalised & Custom Items: Due to the nature of custom branding, these items are non-refundable and non-returnable, except in cases of errors made by YMP Branded Gifting.

2. Damaged or Defective Items

We strive for excellence, but if you receive a damaged or defective item, please follow these steps:

  • Report the issue within 3–7 days of delivery.
  • Provide clear photos or videos showing the defect.
  • Once verified, we will offer a replacement, refund, or store credit at our discretion.

    3. Order Errors (Company Mistakes)

    If we make an error with your order (e.g., incorrect name, logo, or design):

    • Notify us within 5 days of receiving the item.
    • We will arrange for a free replacement at no additional cost.

    4. Customer Order Errors

    If incorrect details were provided by the customer (e.g., misspelled names, wrong logo file):

    • These items cannot be returned or refunded as they were made to specification.
    • A discounted remake fee may be offered if you wish to place a corrected order.

      5. Refunds & Processing Time

      • If the return is approved, we will offer a replacement, store credit, or full refund, depending on the situation.
      • Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days once the returned item is received and inspected.
      • If a replacement is needed, we will expedite the process where possible.

      6. Return Shipping Costs

      • If the return is due to a defect or error on our part, we will cover the return shipping costs.
      • If the return is due to personal preference or incorrect ordering, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees.

      7. Exchanges

      • Non-personalised items may be exchanged within the return window, but the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
      • Personalised items are not eligible for exchanges, unless they are defective or incorrect due to a company mistake.
